دکتر بهروز باریک بین متولد سال 1354 بوده، در سال 1372 با موفقیت در کنکور سراسری و کسب رتبه دو رقمی 94 وارد دانشکده پزشکی دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شهید بهشتی شد. وی در تمام سال های تحصیل پزشکی عمومی جزء دانشجویان ممتاز بود و در نهایت با کسب سهمیه یک درصد اول دانشگاه موفق شد مجوز شرکت در آزمون دستیاری سال 1379 را دریافت نماید. وی در این آزمون رتیه 9 را بدست آورد و بدین ترتیب در رشته پوست دانشگاه علوم پزشکی تهران و بیمارستان پوست رازی مشغول به تحصیل شد و پس از 4 سال با کسب رتبه اول بورد تخصصی پوست در سال 1383 فارغ التحصیل گردید. از آن پس وی به عنوان عضو هیئت علمی در دانشگاه علوم پزشکی شهید بهشتی تا سال ١٣٩٢ مشغول به آموزش و پژوهش گشته و هم اکنون وی عضو شورای پژوهشی مراکز تحقیقاتی پوست و لیزر این دانشگاه می باشد. وي به مدت چهار سال قائم مقام مركز تحقيقات كاربرد ليزر در علوم پزشكي بود و طي اين مدت به پژوهش بر روي كاربرد ليزر در علم درماتولوژي پرداخت كه حاصل آن تاليف كتاب كاربرد ليزر در رشته تخصصي پوست بود. علاقه ايشان بيش از هرچیز به رشته زیبایی (Cosmetology) بوده و تعداد زیادی از بیماران را تاکنون تحت درمان های مختلف شامل لیزر درمانی، تزریقات بوتاکس و ژل و یا چربی و نیز کاشت مو و ليپوليز با ليزر و نيز تكنيك جديد ليپوماتيك قرار داده است. همچنین وی در کنگره های متعدد داخلی و خارجی شرکت داشته و با مراکز خارج کشور مانندانسيتو درماتولوژي تگزاس به رياست استاد برجسته جناب آقاي دكتر رضا قهستاني در ارتباط می باشد. فعالیت های درماني ايشان در حال حاضر خصوصي و در مطبهاي سعادت آباد و قيطريه مي باشد. ارتباطات پژوهشي ايشان نيز با مركز تحقيقات پوست و سلولهاي بنيادي برقرار ميباشد.
